Horses hold a magical appeal for children. This colorfully designed board game provides an exciting fantasy environment for two to six horse lovers. In the first game, players pretend to be wild mustang stallions galloping through mountains and valleys, gathering a Herd to protect while facing such obstacles as cougars and bad weather. The first player to round up a herd wins. In two other games, players are ranchers rounding up strays and competing to fill out their herds. Players are sure to enjoy the in-depth educational information about horses and horse breeds that is included. This is a great game to Saddle up when it's rainy on the ranch, providing enough challenge to play with parents as well as with friends. | Canada Customers

| | Excellent Game! November 18, 2005 Reviewer: D. Umstead (Pennsylvania) My 6 year old daughter received this for Christmas last year & we have pretty much played it EVERY night since then! She even brings it with us when we travel to her grandparents for over-night visits. I highly recommend buying this for your horse-loving child.
| | Promoting the Horse-related Art of Husbandry and Breeding November 1, 2005 Reviewer: borozco666 (Brooklyn, NY) For years I have tried to reproduce the fascinating world of horse breeding and training in my home, but this game makes it so much easier. The horses in the game are tiny and easily pushed around.
| | AWESOME game September 26, 2005 Reviewer: Amanda J. Mcfarland My mother got this game for my daughter's 9th birthday and it has been SO much fun. My daughter is a horse nut and it can be hard to find horse related board games. We enjoy playing it as a family and my husband and I even broke it out the other day with no kids in sight, lol. The games are easy to learn but not so overly-simple as to be boring to older players. My daughter enjoys the one-player options at times when no one else is available to play and my husband uses the factoids on the cards to study up and be able to understand my daughter and I when we start talking about horses.
| | Excellent value for horse-mad kids August 24, 2005 Reviewer: Carl R. Mousley (South Africa) My 8 year old daughter loves horses & is mad about riding. She loves the game - partly for the gameplay and partly for the information in the game cards (which list the colours, breeds and characteristic markings on horses). The fact that there are three variations of the game and some solitaire versions included is just a bonus.
| | So much fun August 15, 2005 Reviewer: Annie Bananie My daughter cannot get enough of this game. She got it for her 11th birthday and plays it constantly. Its very informative. She loves horses and is planning on being a vet one day; she also horseback rides weekly. The friend that gave her the game loves horses too but does not ride and only plays this game when my daughter asks her too. So if you're not REALLY into horses then this will just be another game to you.
| | Tons of fun for horse lovers of all ages!! November 29, 2004 Reviewer: Jen Wolff (Illinois, USA) This has been my favorite game since i was about five years old. Being a horse lover, i very much enjoy playing this game over and over again. It provides family fun for all ages, even my 19 year old brother likes playing. You also learn about the different roles certain horses play in a wild herd. . . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
| | Great Game!!! Worth your money!! May 14, 2004 Reviewer: Aprilyn Bucklein (Orem, UT United States) bought this game for my 8 year old neice in November last year. It was a big hit!! This game is so great. There are 3 ways to play it. The horse cards are beautifully illustrated and have lots of great facts about each horse on them. This game is so much fun for the whole family. In fact, I think I'm going to buy it for my 5 year old son. Every time we visit my neice, that's all he wants to play. It's a really fun game and a MUST for any horse lover.
| | Six months later still playing it every day September 14, 2003 Reviewer: Unknown My 8 year old daughter got this for Christmas. She was interested in horses and I thought this would be educational and hold her interest. She LOVES this game. It is not too hard for her 6 year old sister to play with her and it is interesting enough that her Dad and I don't get bored with it. She has even played it alone. There are 3 playing options and though we have played all three, the first is the most popular and easiest. The other two options require keeping track of the horses breed and traits. That is too much work for our younger daughter but the 8yo thrives on it. We have played this game hundreds of times since Christmas and easily every day for six months. Both girls got tons of gifts for Christmas. This was the most used, most loved. After a game, the girls like to just read the horse cards and sort them and arrange them. With the variety of playing options I can see where they can enjoy it for years to come. A must buy for your horse fan.
| | Not for the suburbanites February 27, 2003 Reviewer: "alsoam" (Old Tappan, NJ USA) Based on the reviews, I purchased this game for my 9 year old neice who "is into horses." Well, the suburban concept of "into horses" was not enough to make her like this game. She didn't relate to it, there were too many horses and the games did not grab her.
| | Neice Loves This January 2, 2003 Reviewer: Gwen A. Piper (Blandon, PA United States) We bought this game for our neice who is crazy about horses. She instantly loved it and it is a blast to play w/ her. She also enjoys playing it by herself, which is a wonderful asset in all toys.
